As many of you have noticed, we changed our map vendor throughout the app.
Google maps will increase their pricing by 12x(yes, 12 times!) in June 2018. As a small development team, we can’t afford to pay google thousands of dollars every month.
Therefore, we are forced to use other map vendors. As for the quality complaints, we will try to improve the map quality in the coming weeks.
Known issues: Map preview does not work on older phone systems. Android 4.x and some versions of iOS are affected. Our suggestion is to keep your device’s system up to date. Android users can try the fix written at the bottom of this page.
If the map is not working on your device, please let us know the Model and OS version of your phone. We will try to fix it.

Here is a fix for Android users but it may not work for everyone.
- On your phone, open “Google Play.”
- Search for “Android System WebView.”
- Install it, reboot your phone.
- Try HouseSigma app; see if the map is working again.
“Android System WebView” is an official tool release by Google Inc. It can be safely installed/removed.
