But for a smaller group of homes in 2026, the road has been harder \u2014 many months on the market, listing after listing pulled and re-posted, and reductions ranging from tens of thousands to nearly $2 million before a buyer finally said yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are the homes where the buyer, not the seller, set the final price. They aren&#8217;t confined to the top of the market: a $380,000 Surrey condo and a $5.2 million Belcarra waterfront home both appear below, alongside townhouses and mid-priced apartments. It went on and off the market 14 times between September 2024 and this May.
