{"id":47331,"date":"2025-12-15T15:45:16","date_gmt":"2025-12-15T20:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/housesigma.com\/blog-en\/?p=47331"},"modified":"2025-12-15T15:45:19","modified_gmt":"2025-12-15T20:45:19","slug":"infographic-nine-in-10-metro-vancouver-homes-selling-for-under-list-price","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/housesigma.com\/blog-en\/infographic-nine-in-10-metro-vancouver-homes-selling-for-under-list-price\/","title":{"rendered":"Infographic: Nine in 10 Metro Vancouver homes selling for under list price"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Nearly nine in 10 Metro Vancouver homes sold last month went for below list price, with a median drop of 3% under asking, a new HouseSigma infographic reveals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HouseSigma&#8217;s new monthly infographic, PriceWatch, reveals how much above and below list price November homes sold for, including breaking it down by home type and which individual home sales saw the most over\/under asking price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One <a href=\"https:\/\/housesigma.com\/bc\/west-vancouver-real-estate\/3704-mckechnie-avenue\/home\/damgL7AKg4lYZ1MW?id_listing=NkKJ3J15N517d4V6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">spectacular waterfront West Vancouver home<\/a> sold $2.2 million under asking (ouch!), and another <a href=\"https:\/\/housesigma.com\/bc\/west-vancouver-real-estate\/1249-nepal-crescent\/home\/510Qqypxnp8yLGlV?id_listing=10Qqyp5o6ae7LGlV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">West Van oceanview property<\/a> lost 36% off its list price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the other end of the extreme, <a href=\"https:\/\/housesigma.com\/bc\/vancouver-real-estate\/41-41st-avenue-e\/home\/BXeEn7XXXlK7rPo8?id_listing=eVbOYEkRDKB7x2P0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one modest home in Vancouver&#8217;s South Main area<\/a> sold for the most above asking price by both percentage and dollar amount &#8211; $638,000 more than the $1 million it was listed for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The infographic also reveals how much November sellers in the region typically made, or lost, versus their original purchase price &#8211; the\u00a0<em>previous<\/em>\u00a0sale price.
